Jalisco's is a local small Mexican food chain, and I think their food is far better than the other Mexican chains like Azteca and Las Margaritas. Plus, their margaritas are always strong and tasty. Jalisco's in Kirkland is located right downtown, making it an easy place to go for dinner on a night out.

This visit, we tried the Fajita Burrito and Shrimp Chimichanga. Both were good, but the chimichanga was a little better. The real stand-out was their Peach Margarita, which was large, strong, and very tasty. Better be careful.. a couple of those could put you out for the night.

For a downtown restaurant they never seem too busy, so just drop in for a bite. It's some of the best Mexican food you'll find around the Eastside.
