Dilettante is all about chocolate. Chocolate cakes, chocolate truffles, chocolate mousse, chocolate drinks. They have a specialty and do it well. This restaurant on Capital Hill in Seattle is perfect for coffee and dessert after an evening on the town. I think they also serve a few main course items, but come on - why waste valuable stomach space that could be filled with their delicious chocolate? Personally, I really like their Voltaire drink - a blend of coffee, cocoa, and sugar with
no dairy. Plenty of kick. But everything else they serve is exquisite as well, as long as
you like chocolate. It can get busy on weekends though, so don't be surprised if you have to
wait a bit. Oh how I wish we had a dessert spot even half as good on the Eastside.
This place is definitely worth the trip.
