I remember when this building used to be a Pizza Hut. It's a small place close to Crossroads Mall. If you want fancy surroundings or table service, go somewhere else. Alcapulco Fresh more closely resembles a Taco Del Mar, and burritos are also their specialty.

Where Alcapulco Fresh stands out is it's fresh salsa bar. It sits in the middle of the restaurant, where the old Pizza Hut salad bar used to be, and you can customize your meal with several different fresh salsas, or even some picked peppers to add some spice. Great stuff, and something you don't see even in nicer Mexican restaurants. The burritos themselves were good, but not quite as good or big as Taco Del Mar. However, being able to dress them in custom salsas makes up for a lot.

Oh, and you can also get some good mexican bottled beers here, another differentiator. So give them a try when you need a quick, informal Mexican meal.
